We have been organizing free health camps regularly in order to spread the concept of health within the community. The response to each one of them has been overwhelming. |
Blood Donation Camp |

Lazarus Hospital organizes blood donation camps on a regular basis. In the last 4 months alone we have helped collect almost 100 units of blood for various blood banks. We see it as a big public service act and work toward educating and encouraging individual to donate blood more frequently. We regularly give away gifts and privilege cards to the donors in appreciation of their noble act.

Happy Baby Show

A Happy Baby Show was organised with the view to promote child health. More than three hundred children below three years of age participated in the event. Prizes were given in over 12 categories. All the participants were given gifts including an LEM Card.

Health Insurance Mela

We celebrated this independence day by organizing a health insurance mela at the hospital premises. As a public service gesture we encouraged almost 400 autorickshaw drivers of the city to take a life insurance policy for upto Rs 1 Lakh for death or permanent disability. 50% of the premium amount was paid by Lazarus Hospital. They were also offered Basic Health screening package worth Rs 120/- free of cost along with the privilege card (LEM card) with which they can avail discounts on their treatment at the hospital.At the event we offered several Medical Insurance policies for individuals as well as for their families. They had the option of insuring themselves for up to Rs 2,00,000. In order to promote the concept of Medical Insurance, we are offered a very special price on all the policies for all our LEM cardholders. We also counseled the attendees on which policy would be best suited for them.

Celebrating First Anniversary

The month of October, brought with it - discounts, special offers and lots of reasons for everyone to smile. For one full week, (starting 18th October), the hospital offered 40% off on a variety of surgical procedures, preventive health packages and Exclusive Membership cards. The patients who opted for surgical procedures during the week were also given free Mediclaim policy for Rs 30,000.

On 30th October 2004, a gala evening was organized at the hospital premises for 'Friends of Lazarus'. The celebrations included music, games, snacks and gifts. More than 300 people were invited with family to participate in the grand event. The hospital specially felicitated the 'Lazarus Babies' - children who were born in Lazarus Hospital. The youngest 'Lazarus Baby' did the honors of cutting the Lazarus Birthday cake. |

The hospital also launched two new specialties - Nephrology and Ear Nose & Throat (ENT). The setup is complete with Dialysis machines, C Arms and Urology equipment and hence geared for both out-patient as well as in-patient facilities.
